Post Christmas Post....and Happy Birthday Blog

Well, another Christmas come, and another one gone. I got a whole 2 days off for Christmas, but it was enjoyable. Christmas eve, we got to eat a great supper, a piece of prime rib that you could stick your fork into and not touch the plate. Now that's good eating.

And, as I suspected, more car parts for Christmas. This was started last year when my brother gave me a power steering pump. Now this year it was a little different, because, I actually paid for this battery, and yet, my parents still wrapped it and made it look like a present. Ha ha ha. I made the comment that in about 6 or 7 more Christmases I'm gonna have my engine mostly replaced. Anyhow, other gifts actually included some saddle bags that are coming here sometime, they didn't make it for Christmas, but they will be used later in the spring and summer time. I was kinda surprised that my mother agreed to that actually. She doesn't want anything to do that thing, yet she went in on the accessories for it. I'm looking forward to getting riding season underway again here really soon. Christmas day was fun too, we had tons of fun with the cousins, and their kids. Still have one more to go coming up here in January. Grandpa Wipf will come home and we'll do a late Christmas, which is kinda fun. To me, it makes it a little more original when you do it away from the normal season time.

One thing I completely overlooked at the beginning of the month is the one year marker of the blog. It's been up and going for almost 13 months now, and I was told a couple times at Christmas that people at home (Grandpa and Grandma Hofer to be exact) enjoy keeping up on what's happening. So, I guess to keep the people happy, I'll just blog on....
