Camping

Camping trip #1 for the summer is now in the books. We had some wind issues. Actually, we had lots of wind issues. The wind blew the entire time we were there. Friday night, it felt like we were back in Oklahoma when we were combining and riding out storms in the camper. It's alot nicer being in the camper though instead of in the tents that some of the cousins had to be in. One tent dweller had to ride it out to keep the tent on the ground and from collapsing in and beind destroyed. The jetski did get put in the water, but in hindsight it wasn't a good plan. it was difficult to load and unload the watercraft, and the only thing I did in the water was just that, keep it from getting run into metal or wood on the dock and trailer to get it back out. Sunday, she sat and whimpered on the trailer all day, but she also knew that it was not a good time to be out on the water. Hopefully, we can have some action on the water this coming weekend as we camp up near Gettysburg. I've seen no time on the water this year. It's just a wild summer so far, but I've had no open weekends since the Memorial Day weekend. It's rough being in such high demand!

Work is just about out of control busy! Most people I talk to say that it is really job security. That it is, and overtime is plentiful. That's always a plus though when balancing the checkbook.

Other things going on include a process for church and the radio station. I'm doing website work for both of them, and tonight is the beginning of the process for the new church's website. I've done all the major design, and have a great set of teammates who have been assisting with me the entire way. That site will be on here as a link in the not too distant future, there are just some things that have to be completed on it. Well, this might be it prior to the big holiday coming up. Have a happy 4th!
