Busy week(end)

Man, it's hard to believe the weekend is gone already. It was such a busy week, I didn't even get a chance to get anything written. Well, I'll write about an expirience that I had this weekend. I decided that I was gonna get a football game to occupy some extra time I've got, so I got one for the computer. I found out that the computer decided that my controller wasn't good enough, it tried to tell the controller that it had extra buttons and features that the controller really didn't. So, after buying a cheap computer game, I had to upgrade the controller. Should have known it wouldn't have been so easy as just getting a cheap computer game. So, I figured that since the game I had bought required Windows, I should get a Microsoft controller, so I did. Now, you'd think that because I'm running the game in Windows (made by Microsoft) and I had a controller that was made by Microsoft, that it should be able to just identify it and say, "Ohh, you're a Microsoft product just like I am, we can be friends. I've got your driver right here, now you can work perfectly." Well, that didn't happen. Windows decided that it didn't like the controller, and wasn't going to find the drivers for it. I had to force them to like each other. After telling them that they would play nice, and they would work together, and forcing the driver on the machine, the machine tried to be definant and said it wouldn't work without restarting. It's a good thing for Windows that it was on my work computer, and that I have to use it and have to keep it, otherwise, it'd still be in that snow bank back in Sioux Falls.
